Karen Ryan

As a business professional, Karen has extensive experience in Project Management. She worked for

eight years with Zegrahm Expeditions developing and organizing eco-adventures to far-flung corners of the globe, with duties as a Program Manager in the Seattle-based office as well as Assistant Cruise Director and Travel Guide in the field. From 2013-2020, she was employed by Texas-based interior design firm, A.G. Ryan & Associates, Inc. as a Project Manager coordinating highly detailed installations of newly constructed buildings, as well as remodels. Most recently, Karen has been working in the non-profit realm with La Familia Health, where she was the event coordinator for their highly successful 50th Anniversary Gala in 2022.

Karen has also been involved in the inner workings of theatrical productions and theatre companies

all of her adult life. In Seattle, she was a Company Member (1996-2003) and Co-Artistic Director

(2003-2005) of the comedic theatre group Bald Faced Lie, as well as Company Member with Open

Circle Theatre from 2000-2008. In Santa Fe, she has performed in numerous shows, particularly at the Santa Fe Playhouse. Karen served on the Board of Directors of Theatre Santa Fe from 2016-2020 and has been a board and advisory board member of Live Arts since its beginning in 2019.
