Arts for all! LiveArts Santa Fe is a new performing arts organization dedicated to providing accessible and equitable performing arts experiences to everyone in Santa Fe. From our free youth programs to our roaming cabaret events and our advocacy work to revitalize the Greer Garson Theatre Center at the Midtown Site, LiveArts is dedicated to breaking down barriers to participation in the performing arts. LiveArts Santa Fe was founded to ensure that the Greer Garson Theatre Center at the Midtown Site remains a performing arts center to serve the people of Santa Fe. Even while we launch other programs, this effort is our central and guiding purpose for the community. ​ We have an initial goal of $100,000 for 2024 to revive this beloved theatre center. Raised funds will go to support LiveArts' continued operation, including programming and advocacy work, as we continue to network and negotiate for the renovation of the Greer Garson Theatre Center. LiveArts Santa Fe is dedicated to making a substantial impact for Midtown Santa Fe and to help local performing arts companies to have access to this state of the art facility. Through Improvisation games, guided writing, visual art exercises and performance coaching, the Young Creators Project gives you the tools, supportive community and audience to share your unique perspective with the world. Mentoring from experts: Learn from seasoned artists and industry professionals who will guide you in practicing and honing your skills, expanding your artistic vision, and building confidence in yourself and your creativity. This invaluable mentorship will help you take your creativity to the next level. Collaborate and connect: The Young Creators Project is not just about individual artistry; it's about building connections and fostering collaboration. Connect with young artist peers, exchange ideas, and go on creative journeys together. The Young Creators Project welcomes participants to come as they can, understanding the demands of your busy schedule. While there is no requirement to attend every week, we do want to emphasize that regular attendance amplifies your experience and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process. ​ Build Confidence: Shhhhh...! This is the big secret we don’t usually tell you: Our youth find that they become more confident in their reading, writing and speaking skills! Do you have a fear of writing? Does it feel like a CHORE? Do you get anxious when you have to speak up in school or even with your friends? The Young Creators Project has great success in helping students discover the FUN and FREEDOM in writing! Which leads to greater ease and advancement in reading skills! And sharing your creative work in a fun, safe community enhances your ability to SHARE YOUR VOICE for freely. Performance and Exhibition opportunities: Imagine performing and/or displaying your original creative projects on stage and in art exhibits! The Young Creators Project will provide multiple opportunities throughout the year for students to perform individual and collective projects as well as provide curated exhibitions featuring the works of selected participants, providing a platform for your talent to be seen, appreciated and celebrated by family, friends, and community. Rush Ticket Program Rush Ticket LiveArts is excited to launch our Rush-Tickets program, inspired by performance venues in larger markets. Through this program, we aim to provide greater access to the arts by offering a limited number of free tickets to select individuals for each of our mainstage and blackbox performances. LiveArts is committed to making the arts accessible to the local community. The Rush-Tickets program will runs throughout the year. The goal is to create opportunities for individuals who may not have had the chance to attend live performances before, thereby fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts within our community. ​ We value the feedback and experiences of Rush-Tickets program attendees. We encourage participants to share their thoughts and impressions, which will help us continually improve and refine the program to better serve the needs of the community. Leave Your Feedback Here ​ Ticket Distribution The free Rush-Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested individuals must present a valid student ID, tribal membership documentation, or proof of residency within the eligible zip codes to claim their tickets. Tickets can be obtained either in person at the LiveArts box office. Ticket Limitations Each eligible individual is entitled to one Rush-Ticket per performance. This ensures that as many people as possible can benefit from the program and enjoy a diverse range of performances throughout the season. Performance Coverage The Rush-Tickets program encompasses all performances by LiveArts Rep and Conservatory, as well as performances by other organizations that rent LiveArts facilities. This allows for a wide variety of shows and events to be accessible to the community through the program. Ticket Availability For each mainstage performance, we allocate 30 complimentary tickets to be distributed through the Rush-Tickets program. Additionally, for each blackbox performance, we will offer 8 free tickets. This ensures that a significant number of residents can experience the magic of LiveArts productions without financial barriers. Outreach and Awareness LiveArts actively promotes the Rush-Tickets program through various channels, including our social media, local community organizations, schools, and tribal councils. This ensures that eligible individuals are aware of the program and have equal access to the opportunities it provides. LiveArts is thrilled to launch this initiative and looks forward to welcoming students, tribal members, and residents to experience the joy and wonder of live performances through the Rush-Tickets program.
